Artist statement:
Blending the old with the new, Pamela Sutherland uses a variety of media to evoke the memory of a lost loved one and the feelings that she never expressed. By incorporating images and items that relate to her loved one, herself, and to the things that she never knew about their relationship until it was to late, she creates a visual letter to her loved one, expressing more than words can truly say.
